What is the water temperature at Buzios beaches in January? I read that the ground temperature hovers around 31 degrees Celcius. Is the water warm or cool for swimming?

its allways cold!! 18 degrees in winter, 21 degrees in summer, we have a cold current comming from south.
That`s why we have 18 meters visibility underwater anually percent.
I would say no less than 25ºC in January. Have a look here: http://www.holiday-weather.com/buzios/averages/
