My daughter (adult) and I are trying to decide on a long weekend get away from Atlanta mid July. We've thought about just driving to the beach at Hilton Head, but we've done that in the past. Anyone have any great suggestions? We like to do a spa treatment, mix of fine dining and cool local spots, nice pool and/or beach. Would enjoy a cooking class or some other educational element, perhaps a show of some sort.
Not interested in shopping.
Since we only have 3 or 4 nights I don't want to spend much time en route.
Thought about Vegas, never been but we don't gamble. Would we be bored?
Also thought about trying to find a deal for Bahamas or Bermuda.
Cost wise, definitely not budget, but doesn't have to be 5 star either. Would, of course, like to find a good deal!
Looking forward to getting some great ideas!

I like the Bahamas or Bermuda idea. Close to Altanta to maximize your short time. Vegas is a personal perference, seems like people either love it or hate it (nothing to do with gambling or not).
