We are two families, one from CA and the other from DC, wanting to meet somewhere in-between in the US for the end of March Spring Break. Original idea was Grand Canyon/Zion/Bryce or Yellowstone, but the weather is not very good and we are not super adventurous, like don't want to do intensive hikes or hikes in the snow. All kids are over 12 years. Florida is out; we've done that. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Welcome to Fodors. You need to repost this on the United States board, not many people read this one.
If you want something urban and interesting, New Orleans comes to mind. It's a terrific city to visit; you can ride the streetcar listen to jazz and get lots of good food. Teens will get a kick out of the spooky ghost stuff/voodoo stories (there are tours that capitalize on that) and grown ups can enjoy the architecture both in the Quarter and in the Garden District/uptown areas.
St Louis
I went to Sedona for spring break and it was perfectly beautiful. I dont think youd have too much snow at Grand Canyon in March, but keep searching this site, on the US board. Someone will have a good answer.
