I fly into NYC at around 1pm this Saturday, and have read reviews on this place in NYC, and it sounds pretty great. No transaction fees, etc. Anyone deal with this place to get currency exchanged? I want to see if it's worth venturing into the city after I land. I have a flight later that evening at 9PM to go over to Europe. I don't do the ATM thing over there (mostly because i do not have a bank account and the hotels are booked with prepaid AMEX's). So I always get cash for spending money. Just wanna see if anyone has exchanged at this place. Thanks

Exchanging cash is like throwing 10% of your money out of the window. And I can;t imagine that trekking to and fro the city is going to be worth the cost.
As for what you will get - it doesn;t matter if there is no fee - they just make their money by giving you a terrible rate of exchange.
Much easier just to get the money at the bureau de change in the airport. If you are unsure call this company (never heard of it) and ask their what it will cost you to get 1000 euros - then compare to the airport rate.
And do you have several hours extra to trek to and fro the city from the airport?
And, it's none of my business - but I can't imagine how anyone functions without a bank account - I've had one since I was 14 - and don't know anyone that doesn't have one.
No, it's not worth it to change your money in advance. Wait until you get to Europe. You're going to lose a lot by not having an ATM card, which always gets you the best exchange rates. It would be a pity to lose even more before the trip by getting your euros in advance.
