Bridgeport/Mono Lake....any suggestions?

Thinking of doing an Eastern Sierra vacation and recreate some memories from when I was a kid. Definitely will be going over the Sonora Pass and staying at Kennedy Meadows and Twain Harte (had a cabin there and spent every summer for 18 years there) and will go revisit Bodie. Any recommendations for a motel in either Bridgeport or Mono Lake area?

This place is not the Ritz but if you want a place that hasn't changed much since John Wayne used to stay there, this is a great option.
