The question is, where is the best chuckwagon dinner show? I've looked at so many my head is ready to explode. If we are going to spend $35+ per head I'd like the complete experience (the meal, the ride & the show). Will be traveling from N Yellowstone to the Grand Canyon sorta following US Rt 89. Or is there a good one along I40 in Texas or Oklahoma? We have looked at the ones in the Black Hills but, would like to do this later in our trip.

Tulsa, Oklahoma has a fantastic production of Rogers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! http://www.discoverylandusa.com/ There is no trail ride but it is a dinner/show. Of course, being a native Oklahoman I love it and have been out there many times.
Have also been to the dinner/show at the Palo Duro Canyon in Amarilo, TX. The show was great and you can horseback ride during the day down into the canyon. http://www.palodurocanyon.com/

Not sure if either are along your route but both are great.
Thanks OUtinkerbelle, The one in Amarillo looks like the ticket for us.
The show in Amarillo is great - you will really enjoy it. I just wish we would have had more time in the canyon before the show. We were coming from Fort Worth and got there just as the show started.
You are welcome! The horseback ride down into the canyon was a lot of fun if you can fit it in.
