Our son will graduate from OSU on March 18 (yippee!) and has a job lined up (double yippee!!). We live out of state and will drive there for the weekend. Some family will be there Sat night and leave on Sun before the actual ceremony - they have 2 kids 7 and 9 years old. Other family will arrive Sun AM and we'll go to dinner after the ceremony.
So, I am in need of 2 restaurant suggestions for our dinners: 1 on Sat 3/17 (St Patrick's Day) that is good for young children. Total party will be 7 adults, 1 teen and the 2 kids, so 10 total. The other 1 on Sun 3/18 for 6 adults and 1 teen. We don't want anything too fancy or too pricey and ideally would like a place that takes reservations or at least call-ahead seating. My husband's idea of a great restaurant is Champps, so a sports bar type place (on the nicer side) is okay too.
We'll be staying near the campus but have 3 vehicles, so driving is not a problem. Any ideas? Thanks!
