Driving suggestions from Hill City,SD to Jackson WY

Thanks to suggestions posted earlier this year on our trip from St Louis through to Yellowstone, I think we have worked out a plan as far as Hill City where we will visit Mt Rushmore and other attractions as well as Badlands.

Next leg is from Hill City to Jackson, WY. Google has us going through Casper and the trip taking about 9 hours.

Is there anywhere we should stop en route or anything else we should be doing ? We are Australian and long distances don't worry us but I would hate to miss out on some fantastic attraction just for the sake of getting there quickly. Time is not really a problem.

We will be there mid September.
