I need to find a place to stay in Gloucester, Ma. for a couple of nights in October. We plan to do a litle touring around Cape Ann before we continnue up th Coast to Maine
Has anyone ever stayed at the Wingaersheek Inn and Motel? I'd appreciate your thoughts on this place. We're looking for something basic - we'll be eating at lots of good seafood restaurants in that area - but we'd like to find a clean, moderately priced
spot for a few nights. Thanks - any other recommendations?

I've never been there. We tend to stay at places along Atlantic Road. Makes for a nice sidewalk stroll along the ocean in the morning and evenings. Topping in case anyone has visited the property you are inquiring about.
Have no experience with it but I can tell you that Beverly Garden Suites is just what you're looking for...though not quite in Gloucester, it's about 12 miles south. But still very close to great seafood at Woodman's of Essex and The Clam Box.
