Has anyone stayed here? The hotel seems lovely but my concern is the location. Is it walking distance to main attractions or to downtown? I know that they have a free shuttle and we will have a car but I am interested in any opinions.

Technically it's walking distance to the downtown tourist area (I've done it a couple times) but it's not a particularly pleasant walk unless you're into urban hiking.
That said, we always stay in the West End area to be near the bars and restaurants around Vanderbilt. It's a very accessible area if you have a car.
I am staying here now! It is a beautiful hotel. Very contemporary furnishings. Awesome shower. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Great service. We have a car, but my daughter used their shuttle service to get downtown this morning. She had to wait about 30 minutes for it as it was already in use. They did pick her up right away for the return. Parking is $25 for the valet or $20 for self-parking. It is right down the street from Vanderbilt. I will stay here again if we're in Nashville.
