The I-64 bridge that crosses the Ohio River between New Albany, IN and Louisville, KY is completely closed in both direction for at least 3 weeks with some reports saying it would closed through spring the 2012. If you are planning on traveling on either of these interstate highways you may wish to rethink you route. Long delays should be expected.
IF traveling E-W consider rerouting through Indianapolis, IN( I-70 ) or through Nashville, TN (I-24 and I-40). If traveling N-S consider I-57 through Illinios or I-75 through Cincinnati, OH.

From Louisville, you can take I-65 North about 5 miles and then I-265 West to reconnect with I-64, or coming south on 65, of course, you can take I-265 before you get to Louisville.
Thanks, nomad! I hadn't heard about this.
