Of the newer New Orleans restaurants which would you pick for Saturday night - SoBou or R'Evolution? We have reservations at R'Evolution but just saw SoBou on Esquire's top new restaurant list.
For those who might be tempted to suggest the NOLA classics, never fear we are trying to hit many of them too on our upcoming trip.
Excited for the upcoming trip and thanks again to everyone on Fodor's for your help on my longer planning trip thread.

I'd do R'Evolution. I didn't eat at SoBou, but I was there for a party & had cocktails there -it just seemed a little gimmicky and desperate. R'Evolution doesn't seem to feel obligated to try so hard...
We ended up doing both and were pleased with the decision. Lunch at SoBou, dinner at R'Evolution. Trip report to come.
