I am in the same baot with Brett I will be driving to Niagara Falls, Canada from Toms River,NJ, can anybody give me good directions and recommend a town or place to stay ove, roughly 30minutes to and Hour hrs outside of Niagara Falls, Thanks
We are leaving for this trip in two weeks, but leaving from the Bridgewater, NJ area. We will be taking route 80 west to to 380N to 81N into NY and up to Syracuse area where we'll take a left onto 90W.
From our area to the falls it is about 7 hours. We are leaving Friday night and staying in Liverpool overnight which is right outside of Syracuse. From there to the US side of the falls it is about 2-3/4 hours.
We will be stopping in Buffalo on the way for lunch with our ultimate destination Niagara on the Lake.

Niagara on the Lake is a very pretty town. And Toronto isn;t much more than an hour once you're into Canada.
