We'll be in DC on Palm Sunday, looking for the nearest Catholic church to the Hilton Garden Inn downtown and /or where parking wouldn't be a problem.
Thanks for your help.

Cshells, you should add a Washington DC tag to this...
Hotel Address: 815 14th Street Northwest, Washington D.C.
Is there a reaso you nead to drive?
You could walk to St. Matthews, where JFK's funeral mass was. It is a pretty church.

Also you could take Metro or drive to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.

There is also
St. Patrick Catholic Church
619 Tenth Street, N.W.
Washington, DC 20001
(also walkable)

I am not familiar with that one. If found it using Mapquest search nearby
The website says:
St. Patrick's Church is the oldest parish in the Federal City of Washington, D.C. Founded in 1794 to minister to the needs of the stonemasons building the White House and the U.S. Capitol, the parish continues to serve the needs of downtown Washington through daily Mass & confession, adult education, and cultural activities.
