Hi guys! My friend and I (both from Australia) are thinking of hiring a car and driving down the east coast across the month of June.
We want to start in Philadelphia, and then visit, in this order, Charleston, Memphis, New Orleans, Austin and Dallas, spending a couple days in each. I'm just wondering, has anyone got any suggestions? Is it a better idea to fly between Phily, Charleston and Memphis as they are quite long drives?
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks

Why do you want that order? Where will you depart from --Dallas?
Memphis may be the outlier unless you do fly.
I like driving, so thos distances wouldn't bother me.
I love Memphis, but you might want to consider contuing down the coast from Charleston, including Savannah, cut over to I10 and drive to NO along the Gulf Coast. I've done it numerous times and always enjoyed it. It would mean skipping Memphis.
