We are travelling to Arizona in May and will be spending the last two weeks in the Prescott/ phoenix areas. I was hoping to visit a rodeo whilst there but from my research we seem to be going either too early or too late. Does anyone know of any such entertainment during our visit?

The problem with May is the weather, too hot for a rodeo. Having been a SE Arizona resident the only one I know of is the Tucson Rodeo which takes place, you probably know, in February.
Maybe a guest ranch would be a substitute. You'll want to find one at as high an elevation as possible to avoid the worst of the heat.
PBR has dates in Las Vegas May 10-11 - the schedule after that date should be published soon. Maybe they'd hit Phoenix after Vegas.
(these are of course indoor events)
Thanks for your replies, I'm much obliged.
