Sounds wonderful! 65 degrees here in the glorious southwest, aka Albuquerque. Sun shining, hardly a breeze, everyone out for a stroll in the neighborhood. No palms though. Hope you are having a great day!
50s and sunny all day in CT. Hope you enjoy it. Theres no such thing as a bad day in SD is there?
Isn't it just lovely? Perfect morning to go see Skyfall when the theaters were not that crowded.
Ice skating at the Del?
This must be something new?
Hope your trip continues to be wonderful.
Don't get too sunburned now - SF7.
Tom, that was a concern! I'm changing from jeans to shorts today!
Nanabee, they've been doing the rink at the Del for 7 years they told us. It's in the area right next to the main pool (with your back to the beach, to the left of the pool). It's very pricey - $25 (for up to 3 hours, and including skates, but who can ice skate for 3 hours), but a very fun thing to do.
sf -- I had no idea! And I grew up in Coronado!! So I figured it must be sorta new. I plan to call them and find out more info. I'm so glad you mentioned this.
Some fun things to do, if you haven't done already are to rent bikes at Hollands Bike Shop and bike around the island. Or rent a paddle boat at the Glorietta Bay (if they still do that).
We like the Tent City Restaurant for lunches, Miguel's Mexican CAtina.
The weather today up here in La Jolla is cloudy but the sun is peeking out, so hopefully it'll get sunnier later once the marine layer burns off.
Great Black Friday sales 2day. Anybody else get out?
Nope, but we drove by two Walmarts last night in the El Cajon La Mesa area and the parking lots at both were packed.
Bet they were. Was at Nelson's camera in Little Italy buying a Xmas present for my wife. Nikon has some very good sales going right now.
Now off to my trusty Starbucks - and may check out Fry's - which has some great deals also.
We're going to the Stanford-UCLA game today (Go Cardinal) and it's supposed to be 82 in Pasadena!
Go Stanford. Beat the "ruins".
