My husband and I will be in Santa Barbara for a wedding. Could anyone recommend some nice restaurants in the area? I know there are a lot of seafood restaurants in Santa Barbara, but my husband doesn't eat seafood.

Opal is a favorite of hours.

I love Bouchon - delicious food, great service, lovely atmosphere. At the opposite dive-end of the scale is La Super Rica.
We love Bouchon too.
Is it the same Bouchon by Thomas Keller? I've been to the Bouchon location in Napa Valley and want to try someplace new.
Opal looks great! Thanks for the recommendation.
The Wins Cask has nice steaks, also had a nice no seafood meal at Pierre Lafond Bistro.
Define "nice".
We saw Norton's Pastrami and Deli on Diner's Drive Ins and Dives and had to hit it for lunch.
Glad we did....didn't need dinner.
Lindy, my understanding is that Bouchon in Santa Barbara is not a Thomas Keller restaurant.
I cannot resist a good pastrami sandwich, thank you Kal!
Thanks for the recommendations, everyone!

DW and I had a great breakfast at Joe's Cafe on State St. before heading up to the mission. From the mission, we met family at the zoo which was a good afternoon. After the zoo we went to a seafood restaurant out on the pier.
Lindy...go on youtube and see Guy Fieri's visit to Norton's. I gain 2 lbs just watching it.
Arts & Letters & Jane.
If you have time try to have High tea at Four Seasons.
