Going to Savannah over Thanksgiving and would love to hear recommendations on where to dine for great, great, great southern food - and also sightseeing recommendations. We will only be there 3 days then heading down to the Fla State game on Sat!
Savannah, what NOT to miss!

It may not be fine dining but I like Goosefeathers (bakery) for breakfast.
Did you do a board search? You'll find plenty of good advice here if you do.
Here's a start:

Scroll down this link and see a list I compiled of "hole-in-the-wall" dining spots. It needs update from last year, but it's a start.

Fine Dining:
Sapphire Grill, Local 11 Ten, Cha Bella's, Pink House, Garibaldi's
Update on Hole-in-the-wall spots: Cafe Florie A real jewel. This is what the NY Times said about it recently:

We went in May and enjoyed the carriage tour just before dark. Lots of history would have been hard to absorb while walking.
Do not forget to go to the Moon River Brewing Company. Great Food Beer and its haunted
Click on my name and you'll find a Charleston-Savannah report from last spring.
Maybe Moon River being haunted is why my server disappeared.
