Teen friendly condo in Destin

Which area of Destin would you recommend for a family of 6, including 4 teenagers? Would like to be beachfront if possible and be near an area where the kids can go off on their own. My husband and I would love a beachbar for us. I've looked at Sandestin and Silver Shells and everything is booked. Please help. My head is spinning from all the choices.

You do not want to be anywhere near there during college spring break.

Have you checked www.vrbo.com for Sandestin. With all the properties within the resort I cannot imagine them all being booked. The Baytowne part of the resort is not on the beach but around the golf course with condos, shops, neighborhoods, etc and a good place for bike riding. However, I think you will find a beachfront condo on vrbo. Hidden Dunes is also nice and close to Sandestin. Hope you find the perfect place. We have been in Destin several times with the spring breakers and it has not been a problem. Not sure but Panana City Beach and some other places it might be different.
