Sister and I will be spending 3 days in the Auburn, Indiana area this summer doing some genealogy research, ie. visiting cemeteries, courthouses and ancestoral family farms. We are interested in other things to do and see in the area.

Hill-Crest "Museum"
We used to live there - nice town but it isn't a real tourist mecca - unless you are really into old cars. Even if you aren't, the car museum is worth visiting at least for a bit and is about the only tourist attraction.
There are some Amish enclaves north of Ft. Wayne as well - mainly places to eat and antique stores.
There is a state park north of Auburn (Pokagon state park) which would be OK if it wasn't too hot.
I stopped in at the Auburn - Cord - Duesenberg Museum more than a few years ago. I was on my way home from somewhere. Found it very enjoyable. Other than that, keep driving.
