I am going to Cincinnati (coming from NJ) for a long weekend in late July for a one-day class, and I'm meeting a friend from England there, who's also coming for the class. She really wants to experience an American "brunch" and I'd love to take her somewhere downtown on Sunday that has a nice brunch buffet where we can sit and talk before I have to go to the airport.
We will be staying at a hotel near the convention center and won't have a car. Can someone suggest a casual place in walking distance to get a brunch, not too expensive?
Thanks so much!

The Radisson hotel across the river has a revolving restaurnat on top floor and a sunday brunch. They also have a complimentary airport shuttle you may be able to use, since you will be eating there. I know you can go there for lunch from the airport and get the free shuttle.
Take a taxi to this place with your luggage, leave it with bellman, and enjoy the last view of Cincinnati.

The Omni Netherland Hilton would be a splurge but memorable food and ambiance.

thank you so much, these are wonderful suggestions! And thanks for the tip about the airport shuttle at the Radisson; this might actually be perfect.
You may want to call them on that and tell them you will be eating there and if they will let you take the shuttle back, just to be sure, but I would be very surprised if they had a problem with it as I know people who have come from the airport to meet there ON the shuttle between long layover flights.
