My hubby is a Kennedy assassination buff who wants to go to Dallas for the 50th anniversary events next year. I have some hotel points that I would like to use. Looks like there are many Hyatts in the area. Looking for some guidance on what part of town to stay in. I would prefer to stay in one of the suite type places that they have. Suggestions??
Where to stay in Dallas

Hyatt Regency, Dallas (300 Reunion Blvd) is the Hyatt that's closest to the "Sixth Floor Museum Building". It's within walking distance of Dealey Plaza and the School Book Depository Building.
If you don't want to stay there it really doesn't matter which place you choose as you'll need transportation to get around anyway.
The Hyatt might be a nice option because you would have access from there to the adjacent Union Station, where you can catch a DART train to a lot of locations in the area.
Don't know about suites at the Hyatt. There is an Embassy Suites on Stemmons Freeway (I-35.)

Hyatt Regency Dallas has some suites, but unlike an all suite hotel, such as Hyatt Place(s), suites in HRD are expensive. It is very convenient to the 6th Floor Musem, however, and a nice hotel.
