Hi All,
My husband and I will be visiting Camden the first week of October and I'd like to know the names of some tasting rooms and wineries within an hour's drive of there.
Thank you!

Perfect! Thanks Michael. I Googled "wineries near Camden" every which way but this didn't come up.
Hi there, this is my first post as a new member of the forum. My wife and I stayed at the Samoset Resort this summer and visited the villa for Cellar Door Wines. It is right on route 1 on the way to Camden. Really beautifully restored old house. They let you select six wines to taste and are really friendly. They also have a sniff challenge where you smell different cones and try to guess the scent. Pretty cook, i was pretty bad! They sell wine, chocolates etc Lots of fun!
I stayed at Samoset in early June. I really loved the area. It was so beautiful.
The Cellar Door location in Camden is nice but not as pretty as their location and vineyard in Lincolnville just north of Camden and a short detour off rt 1.
This summer we visited Breakwater Winery near Rockland ME
http://breakwatervineyards.com/ Nice view.
Not sure if it was Sweetgrass that we visited after Breakwater or not. The place we visited was in the general vicinity of Morse's Deli, famous for their sauerkraut.
Celler Door winery sounds like fun. Thanks for the tips everyone.
