Legend of the Seas (Vision Class)

Lots and lots of wide-open space everywhere and a bit more glitter than other Royal Caribbean ships give Legend of the Seas and other Vision-class vessels a distinctive look and feel.

The first Royal Caribbean ships to offer private balconies in a number of categories, Legend of the Seas and the other Vision-class vessels have acres of glass skylights that allow sunlight to flood in and windows that offer wide sea vistas. The soaring central atrium at the heart of each ship is anchored by champagne bars and fills with music after dark.

The answers to these and a thousand other cruise-related questions can be found in Fodor's new guide to Caribbean cruises.

All suites on Legend of the Seas and the other Vision-class ships are not created equal. A Royal Family Suite is a roomy choice for parents with younger children, but goodies that other suites receive -- including bathrobes to use on board, welcome-aboard champagne, evening canapés, and concierge service -- aren't included.
