SV Polynesia

Built in 1938, and launched as Argus, this was one of the last vessels of the Portuguese Grand Banks fishing fleet. Never posh by any stretch of the imagination, the schooner was acquired by Windjammer in 1975 and christened Polynesia. She hosts Windjammer's popular singles cruises as well as the seasonal children's program.
