Midnatsol

About This Ship

Accommodations

Cabins: Accommodations vary in size, even within the same category on each ship, as well as throughout the fleet. Cabin grades are available in 10 or 11 categories, depending on the ship. All are attractively furnished, but only suites and minisuites have amenities such as TVs and minibars. In some categories, the only amenity is a hair dryer.

Layout: On all ships, double beds are available only in the suites. All the other cabins have fixed twin beds and berths, or a bed and sofa bed. Some cabins also have a third upper berth. Generally, outside cabins on higher decks have picture windows, although those on lower decks have portholes. Some suites have balconies or bay windows, and some even have bathtubs with—or without—whirlpool jets. Standard cabins have showers.

Worth Noting: A number of cabins are available for single occupancy at a premium. Three are wheelchair-accessible on Finnmarken; four on Midnastol and Trollfjord. The 220-volt cabin outlets require adapters for U.S. appliances.
