Escape the crowds in the ship's tranquil library, which is also a good spot to gaze at the sea if your book proves to be less than compelling. With access to a private courtyard pool, hot tub, steam room, exercise area, and sundeck, Courtyard Villa accommodations are like a ship within a ship.

Cons: The thermal suites in the spa have large whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, and a relaxation area with loungers facing the sea, but there is an additional charge to use the facility. "Freestyle" dining doesn't mean you can get a table in the main dining rooms at precisely the moment you want, but waiting times can be reduced if you time your arrival at nonpeak periods. For such a large ship, the Internet center is tiny.
