I noticed that the International Herald Tribune Website's travel section had an article this morning too! Congratulations to you, you have put up a good fight and given the travelling public a good service (sorry the period on my keyboard is stuck, time to clean the keyboard, lol)

Good for you Kelly!!! Glad to see that some people don't just accept whatever is thrown at them and say "oh well".

"the most sensational travel rip-off in decades"?

Does this mean that if we search a few decades back...we will find an even more "sensational travel rip-off" than an illegal, musty room with no room for the sofa bed to open?

Kelly-great job on exposing this company.

tracy2cents-I think this story is a lot bigger than a bad hotel room. WooGo has been scamming both tenants and tourists for a long time.

I have been participating on travel boards since 2002 and this company has been scamming unsuspecting tourists (and in some cases landlords) both in Europe and here for at least that long. I just couldn't figure out how they were getting away with it for so long. Thanks for taking up this fight.

As usual, it wasn't the criminal activity that got him, it was the taxes. It just goes to show you, don't "f" with the tax man. Isn't that what brought down Al Capone?
