Paris Triple Hotel Rooms - Pricing List - 2004
Hi All! I've been doing some research attempting to get the best available pricing info for my family for an upcoming trip to Paris (we need triple/family rooms or comparable) and thought I'd share the benefit of my price-gathering efforts. Where applicable, I've included the cost of the hotel breakfast set inside parentheses.
I also have this on Word document if anyone needs a copy. Just e-mail me.
Hope this helps all you info gatherers out there!

very helpful.
Are these places recommended in message boards like this one, or tripadvisor.com
I've read good things about several of them like the Champs de Mar, Jeanne d'Arc, etc but several of them are new to me.

Hey Elaine! I think most of the ones mentioned are from the "Charming Small Hotel Guides" series by the Duncans. I've been waiting to get an updated version of this guide but when I bought one last year it was exactly the same as the one I'd bought a few years earlier. They haven't even updated the prices to euros yet. Oy vey! So, hence the updated list! The others are Youth Hostels that I'd done some research on. These just looked like the prettiest, nicest ones in pretty good areas.
Yeah, Keren, I think I'm going to go with the Hotel des Blois for my family this Christmas. It looks very charming & the cost is extremely reasonable. I love the history of the 14th, too. Plus, they have fax & e-mail access as well as some other amenities we like.
You're welcome, Grantop! I'm glad someone finds it useful!! And, yes, that was supposed to be in euros. Yikes.
Oooh, thanks, Grandmere. I appreciate the update. Cool beans!
Actually, WillTravel, I'm not sure. I'll have to do some checking. Now you've got me started on ANOTHER list!!

Hi Beatchick,
My family of 3 is staying at the Hotel de France Invalides for 104 Euros per night.
It is located in the 7th arr. near the Ecole Militaire Metro stop.
The room includes a mini bar, and is very close to a grocery store.

Beatchick, how did you manage to get a website for Hotel de Blois? I've searched a lot and couldn't find one. You can also take a look at Residence les Goblins, www.hotelgobelins.com. I haven't stayed there, but it has received excellent reviews everywhere I looked. I was just going to book it for my May trip, but then needed to change my plans unexpectedly (how unfortunate!), and will try to book it for September.

Laurie, I think that's the one StCirq touts on this board. She really loves it. And it's in a really great area. Here's the website for that hotel. It's very reasonable and it has internet connection. Have you seen the bar & salon areas? http://www.hoteldefrance.com/
Ar ar ar, Keren!! I wrote them a letter last week & they sent me an e-mail 2/23 with the link. Like you, I'd been trying forever to find a website. I called them last year prior to my last trip & spoke to madam but it was on a Sunday, she was the only one there & spoke no English. And, of course, I can't speak French well enough to carry on a phone conversation overseas!! So I gave up and opted for the Jeanne d'Arc instead. Needless to say, I'm very happy to have heard from them this year!!

Hi Beatchick, Yes, the Hotel de France Invalides is the one that St. Cirq recommends. We are looking forward to our stay there! The website has beautiful pictures!
We stayed in this area last summer, so I know that we will like it. It will feel like we are coming home! Thank you for your comments. Laurie
