Apt. in Paris with AC?

DH and I are hoping to go to Paris in July. I am pregnant, though, and will need air-conditioning! I have e-mails out to Vacation in Paris and Paris Perfect. Can anyone recommend anything else specific? Hoping to be in the 5th, 6th, or 7th Arr. There are 2 of us traveling, and price isn't a huge issue. Thanks for any suggestions!

If you'd consider the Right Bank, there seem to be a number of apts. in the Marais that have air-conditioning. You can start by checking on VRBO. Also, there are larger flats at www.parisvacationapartments.com that have AC, as well, near the Palais Royal especially. Be sure to inquire as to the type of AC (central or cooling towers) - don't assume it's US-style, all-cold, all-the-time. In any event, ParisPerfect is easy to work with and I'm sure they'll be happy to help you, if they have availability. Good luck! EJ

Look at www.sant.com and if you like it email the owner to see if it is available for your dates. It's an American owner and it runs $240 a night by the week. The AC works beautifully -- a great location on Saint Germain right by Rue Seine and Mabillon. We've stayed there twice -- very nice.

I suspect, you're going to have some difficulty though at this late date for a July rental with AC.

I don't know about the availability, but here is where I'll be staying in late Aug. It has received some really good reviews.Oh, and it is the one on Rue Bourg-Tibourg.

OK, Beachgirl86, here are a few more to try: www.homerentalconnections.com (Babylone-St.Germain still has some availability in July), www.franceforrent (St.Louis roof 3), & www.parisbyheart.com (do an advanced search on this site for apts. w/AC. EJ

Looks like the France for Rent site is not opening. You can find this same apt. at www.parisluxuryrentals.com (St.Louis roof 3).

Neopatrick, your apt. looks perfect; I love the location. Two questions: do you know if the sofa bed is comfortable and must one reserve months in advance? I would think this would be a very popular place to rent.
Merci!

Plz forgive the highjacking!

It is popular. I don't know about the sofa bed at all. The bathroom is through the master bedroom, so not too "group" oriented.
