We all know a panda named Andy,
Whose travel advice is just dandy.
He journies afar
As a fodorite star.
With his tight little Speedo kept handy.
And then there's dear Bob from Needham,
Whom some might think pandas mistreat 'im.
It's all done in jest
When put to the test,
They're really good friends. You can't beat 'em!

Thanks everyone, glad you liked my rhymes. I'm a poet... but don't know it... (you know the rest)
Andy..... didn't any of your teachers teach you about the number of syllabols per line that are needed for writing TRUE limericks?? lol
Thanks for the laugh!
Looking forward to more bantering in October...

Carol-I'm well aware of the "normal" constraints on Limericks. I refer you to the literary device known as poetic license. But here you go:
Corrected in writing by a teacher
Makes me feel like illiterate creature.
But I can ignore
A lowly test score
And await with great thrill your next feature.

Much better, Andy. I can even read it with the usual lilt of a limerick. Keep up the good work. Your lowly test scores are showing some improvement. I'm working on another one myself. Have we hijacked this thread? Who else is coming to the BOS GTG?
