Best option in Arusha
Can anyone help me out for a one night stay in Arusha, arriving in the morning, so basically have a full day before heading to Kleins camp.
So far i have in mind:
1. Arusha hotel
2. Arusha Coffee Lodge
3. Serena mountain village
Which one out of those 3 is better? or is there another hotel i missed out. thanks for your feedback.

well, if you ask me, I would suggest the Onsea House. It is a very small place, only opened up recently, and the food is just incredible. It is actually closer to town than the Serena Mountain Village, and in my opinion it beats Arusha Hotel by far.

We all hate mossies.
But, quite a few hotels in/around Arusha have pools. No mossies anywhere when we visited and this was right at the end of the rainy season. A lot has to do with when one travels and from day-to-day there may or may not be flying or creepy crawlie things.

Hello Alejandra,
I stayed at River Trees for my Arusha overnight, and really enjoyed it -- very peaceful in lovely gardens, with good food as well. You can see Kili and Mount Meru from the garden, and there is a pool to relax in (I didn't see any mossies around the pool when I was there in October). However, it's a bit out of town so it may not be ideal for you.

Onsea House has been highly recommended by a number of people I met in Arusha, though unfortunately I didn't have a chance to stop in there before I left. It's supposed to be a small, intimate B&B with great food (one of the owners was a Cordon Bleu chef).
Cheers,
Julian

Hello,
Here's the link to Onsea House's website:

I must say it looks lovely, and I hope I have time to stop in when I'm next in Arusha. If you stay there, bring back some photos for the Safari Photo Album!
Cheers,
Julian
