The Aswan Dams
Getting Here and Around
The Old Dam is five minutes south of town, on the way in from the airport. The High Dam is 15 minutes south of town. You can get to both by taxi or on a guided tour (these tours often stop at the Unfinished Obelisk as well). Allow 1 to 1½ hours to take in the spectacle.
