Talisman Hotel de Charme Review
The approach through dusty alleyways and the climb through floors of nondescript grey offices could be a little off-putting, but misgivings vanish as soon as you enter the Talisman's inviting reception area. A one-floor bed-and-breakfast filled with antique furnishings, Egyptian art, and handwoven Persian carpets on traditional Cairene marble floors, this is an oasis of calm in the middle of Downtown. Rooms vary in size but are well furnished and brightly painted. Rooms are interspersed with Arabic-style lounges for relaxing.
