Intercontinental Bethlehem Review

Known to locals as Jacir Palace, this luxurious lodging is like something out of One Thousand and One Nights. In 1910, Mayor Suleiman Jacir built the mansion, intending that his entire extended family would live here. The main building, an arabesque fantasy, is now home to restaurants including Baidar, with international buffets and garden views; the Riwaq, in the elegant courtyard; and the Rozana Terrace, set against the view of the Judean Hills. Two wings hold the guest rooms, which are some of the most comfortable in the area. Even if you don't stay here, stop by for a drink after a visit to the Church of the Nativity.
