This restaurant seems at first glance like a small neighborhood eatery, but it's much more. The reasonably priced food is simply delicious. Although you sit close to the street, the vines twining around the porch soften the effect, and awareness of traffic disappears with the first mouthful. Classic Italian dishes with homemade pasta vie with creative ideas such as sweet potato soup flavored with orange, ginger, and pepper; pumpkin ravioli; and rotolo (pasta stuffed with a teasing combination of spinach, mushrooms, cheese, and nuts). The thin, crisp pizza crust is the best you can buy. Be sure to leave room for dessert.
