Abu Shukri Review

In the heart of the Old City, at Station V on the Via Dolorosa, this place has an extraordinary and well-deserved reputation for the best hummus in town. Don't expect much in the way of decor. This is a neighborhood eatery, and a look at the clientele—Palestinian Arabs and Jewish Israeli insiders—confirms that you have gone local. Enjoy the excellent fresh falafel balls, baba ghanoush, tahini, and labaneh (a slightly sour cheese served with olive oil and za'atar ); no meat is served. Eat family style, and don't over-order: you can get additional portions on the spot.

    Abu Shukri Review

this is my favorite chummus place in jerusalem! the food is so delicious, always hits the spot. it can be a bit tricky to find (i always get lost in the old city) but all the locals know it so you can ask anyone in the market how to get there.

the best is if you go with friends and each order something different, so you have lots of things to share!

    definitely recommend it!

    Terrific Hummus

Great hummus, baba ghannouj and other mezze in an informal atmosphere. Great place for lunch if you're anywhere near the Arab quarter
