Angelica Review

The proprietor-chef trained in fine dining, and it shows; wonderfully fresh and perfectly cooked ingredients add the dimension of texture to an explosion of great flavors. The clean lines and aqua tints of Angelica's modern decor add an extra touch of class, as does the excellent service. Try not to fill up on the wonderfully crusty bread as you sample starters of homemade merguez sausage, beef fillet tartare, or foie gras tortellini. Main courses are carnivore heaven: superb lamb shoulder osso buco, tender top-quality steaks, and goose confit with apples and chestnuts. If that's not your style, choose one of the tempting fish or pasta dishes. An array of fruit tarts is the house dessert specialty.
