Colony

Colony Review

Once used by the British Railroad Company, this hanger has been transformed into a spacious restaurant with dining areas and party rooms both inside and on the balcony. There's a lengthy bar with comfortable couches and chairs for those seeking more of a salon vibe. A hangout for foreign journalists, diplomatic corps, and in-the-know locals, Colony offers a familiar but tasty menu of steaks, pastas, and salads, including a highly recommended roasted eggplant and marinated chicken. The extensive drink menu is worth a gander, especially the sabra cactus cocktail. Be sure to order dessert, which usually includes a divine strawberry cassata and flavorful tahini ice cream.
