Fauzi Azar Inn Review
In a handsomely restored 200-year-old mansion in the heart of the Old City, Fauzi Azar offers dorm-style accommodations for backpackers, as well as private rooms with soaring ceilings for individuals and families. A traditional Arab breakfast is available in the communal dining hall, where you'll meet a variety of tourists, students, and long-term visitors. The inn is the starting point for the popular Jesus Trail hiking trip, which is organized by inn staff (www.jesustrail.com). The hotel is difficult to find, so call when you arrive in the city and the staff will pick you up.
