Pottery at Le Kasbah de Tifirte is a marvelous emporium of tagine pots, plates, and vases. You can watch experts sitting at a clay wheel knock off a tiny tagine pot and lid within minutes, judging everything expertly by eye and experience. Pieces are then fired in a kiln, decorated, and fired again. It's an excellent place to learn the difference between tadelakt, a hand-polished finish that takes an entire day, and painted stucco imposters. A half day in the workshop costs 70 DH.
