The forest camp in the Cradle conservation area has eight self-catering thatch A-frame cottages on the banks of a stream. Each cottage is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, dishes, and other necessities. Game drives and guided walks can be arranged. The Cradle restaurant has tables overlooking a 7,413 acre game reserve. The overall impression is one of space and silence. The frequently changing menu is impressive, too. Dishes include sage pork chops, lamb shank, veal saltimbocca (a sauce with white wine, vinegar, sage, and butter), and venison and pancetta stew. The extensive wine list has many local specialties.
