#1 Melrose Blvd Review
If you're going to be in town for a few days, or just like having your own space, then the apartments at #1 Melrose Blvd are the perfect option; if you're traveling with a group there are three two-bedroom apartments, as well as one three-bedroom penthouse with a plunge pool. Because the hotel is located in the gated Melrose Arch community, you'll have no problem heading out at night for a bite to eat or a drink at one of the area's numerous bars and restaurants. There are also a number of shops, from pharmacies to stationery stores, in case you forgot to pack anything. The apartments are located on the third floor of an office building and overlook an inner courtyard with a serenely bubbling fountain. Each apartment has a balcony with braai (barbecue) facilities if you feel like entertaining, a full kitchen that includes a washer and dryer, and two bathrooms with Molton Brown products. Each guest receives complimentary breakfast vouchers that are redeemable at three restaurants (two are kosher) within walking distance, although a light breakfast (fruit, yogurt, milk, and muesli) is provided in the rooms. There's also a DVD library available for your perusal if you feel like staying in one night.
