This is the most secluded of all Londolozi's camps. Three private suites overlook the river and are perfect for getting away from others. If you like, the camp can be adapted into a temporary family homestead for 12. Large entrance halls have a modern Ralph Lauren feel, and your floor-to-window glass sliding panels offer great wilderness views. Many of the touches, such as the classic Victorian bathroom are a loving tribute to the early days and legendary characters of Sparta, the original name of the Londolozi property. Channel into a past world through faded sepia photographs, old hunting prints, horse-drawn carts, gleaming silverware, and scuffed safari treasures, taking you back to a time when it took five days by ox wagon to get to Londolozi. In winter, sink deeply into your comfortable armchair in front of your own blazing fireplace; in summer sit outside in your outdoor dining room and listen to Africa's night noises. Keep your ears and eyes open for the resident female leopard as she hunts at night. There are a small, intimate boma, inside and outside dining areas, viewing decks, and a gorgeous S-shaped pool nestling in the surrounding bush, where after your dip you can laze on padded lie-out chairs and be lulled to sleep by the birdsong.
