Ambleside Country House Review

One of the more reasonably priced options in town, this is a great base from which to play golf. The owner, a keen golfer himself, can book courses, arrange transportation, and generally make sure you play as much golf as you can handle. The lodge is unpretentious without compromising on comfort. The casual lounge, large garden with attractive pool area, and honor bar create a great home away from home for weary golfers. Although no dinner is served, many guests make use of the breakfast room and have food delivered.
