Kalinka Restaurant Review
Set in a lovely old stone house with a small but tranquil garden and a glass conservatory, this is a pleasant option for dinner. Try the African trio: gemsbok, kudu, and ostrich served on a warm vegetable terrine; or wildebeest served on spiced sweet-potato gratin with roasted vegetables and monkey-gland sauce (a spicy tomato and onion sauce). Of course there has to be an ostrich meal—it's served with a warm beetroot salad, baby potatoes, and a mustard sauce and is a firm favorite.
