Health and Safety
The whole area is malaria-free, the climate is salubrious, and the water is safe to drink. Be careful of sunburn, and take care when swimming in the sea, as tides in some areas can be strong. Don't ever feed wild animals, even cute little dassies (hyraxes) or vervet monkeys.
Most towns have late-night pharmacies, and if they don't, pharmacies usually have an emergency number on the door. Call the general-emergencies number for all emergencies. If you break down while driving, call your car-rental company or the company's designee. You can also call the Automobile Association (AA) for assistance.
