Chengde
Train Travel
Most travelers arrive on the K7711 direct train from Beijing, which departs from Beijing Main Rail Station at 8:07 am, arriving in Chengde at 12:29 pm. The city is on a northern rail line between Beijing and Shenyang. The journey takes 4½ hours from the capital. No trains run between Chengde and Beidaihe or Shanhaiguan.
