Yangtze River Bridge (Changjiang Daqiao)
Yangtze River Bridge (Changjiang Daqiao) Review
Completed in 1968 at the height of the Cultural Revolution, the bridge is decorated in stirring Socialist-Realist style. Huge stylized flags made of red glass rise from the bridge's piers, and groups of giant-size peasants, workers, and soldiers stride forward heroically. The Great Bridge Park lies on the south side. From here you can take an elevator up to a small museum.
